WHM Grade Level Winners

The Jersey City Public Schools is proud to celebrate Women’s History Month in March.
We will be celebrating the continued effort women have fought for after winning the right
to vote over 100 years ago. The National Women’s History Alliance Women’s History
2021 theme is; Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to be Silenced continues to celebrate
the Suffrage Centennial. There have been many breakthroughs associated with the
suffrage centennial because it involved many groups and government bodies throughout
the country learning about the importance of women’s history for the very first time. Now,
we want to push ahead to secure the progress women have made and ensure that
multicultural women are never again overlooked in American history.

Women History is American History that we must remember and honor this history by
celebrating the achievements and accomplishments of those who came before us.
